****UNTIL DEATH DO US PART****

Album description written by author:

UNTIL DEATH DO US PART: A new tribute album released Fall 2008 honoring the faithfulness of Ron's parents and neighbors to their marital commitments. The songs in this album were all written by James Ronald Thompson.

Comments by web site owner Ron Thompson:

The song "Momma's Ring is a true story about the wedding ring worn by Ron's mother. Her husband was killed by a construction accident when he was age 62 and she wore her wedding ring until her hands were swollen to the point she couldn't wear it any more. She was totally blind and had to resort to special tactics to find items so she put the ring in a chest of drawers inside of a paper bag but told no one about it. When she died some 18 years after her husband, the ring was lost until Ron was examining the contents of the chest of drawers and found a paper bag. Inside that paper bag wrapped in cloth was her wedding ring.

The songs on the first seven tracks of the cd are based on a combination of true stories except for track three which is a fictional bluegrass song. The songs on tracks eight through fourteen are a combination of fantasy and make believe. The song "A Game Called Religion" on track 15 is a true account of a church that was far from the will of God and was playing a game called RELIGION.
